Manchester City have opened talks with Atalanta for fullback Federico Peluso.

The left-back has been watched regularly by City in the past six months and Sport Italia says negotiations have now opened.

However, Juventus are also chasing Peluso and will challenge City for his signature.

Should Juve lose out to City over Peluso, the Bianconeri will approach the English champions for Aleksandar Kolarov.
