Manchester City will offer Gareth Barry a pay cut so he can remain with the Premier League champions.
The 32-year old midfielder is under contract until the summer of 2014 but if he wants to stay put at the Etihad Stadium will need to move to a lower salary according to reports.
Barry earns £120,000-a-week at present but will have to agree to a reduced wage when he meets with the club in May to discuss his Eastlands future.
