Man City offer Hart bumper pay-rise to ward off Arsenal

Manchester City are moving to upgrade Joe Hart's contract over concerns he could be tempted to move away this summer.

The Mail on Sunday says City hope England keeper Joe Hart will agree a long-term deal in the next fortnight that will treble his earnings to £100,000 a week.

City, who are aware of interest from clubs including Arsenal and Spurs, want Hart, 24, signed up as they prepare for their Champions League campaign.

The England No1 is happy to pledge his long-term future to City.
