Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is eyeing a move to Real Madrid. The Sun says the Bosnia striker has not requested a transfer but Etihad bosses are aware of his unhappiness over his lack of first-team opportunities.

And now Dzeko, 26, could be set for a swap deal with Real Madrid's Argy striker Gonzalo Higuain as boss Jose Mourinho is a long-term admirer.

Higuain, 24, is in his sixth season at the Bernabeu and has hinted he will be looking to leave.

City boss Roberto Mancini is keen to partner him with his Argentina team-mate Sergio Aguero.
