Manchester City have edged closer to signing Sporting CP attacker Rafael Leao.
Leao is one of a number of Sporting players that could leave the Portuguese club after the shameful attack by fans at the training ground earlier this year.
Goalkeeper Rui Patricio has already joined Wolves, after citing just cause to terminate his contract.
City have had their eye on Leao for a while and the Sunday Times reports that they have now offered the player personal terms.
Portuguese sources report City are willing to pay a small fee to Sporting to help smooth relations between the two clubs.
