Manchester City have offered Mario Balotelli to AS Roma, it has been revealed.
Gazzetta dello Sport says the agent of Balotelli, Mino Raiola, made contact with Roma sports director Walter Sabatini last week to offer the player on-loan for the coming season.
Sabatini declined the approach, insisting Balotelli's wages were too rich for the Giallorossi.
Balotelli struck for City yesterday against former club Inter Milan, but his relationship with manager Roberto Mancini remains under scrutiny following their bust-up in Los Angeles.
