Man City offer Arsenal Bosman Sagna £21M contract

Arsenal fullback Bacary Sagna will farewell the club today after the FA Cup final.

The game will be the last appearance in an Arsenal shirt for France international Sagna, who could wrap up his free transfer move to Manchester City next week.

The Eithad club have offered him a three-year contract worth £7m a season - which works out at £140,000 a week.

The Gunners' final offer was £80,000 a week for two years, plus a one-year option.

A close friend told the Daily Star: "He's very thankful to Arsene and other coaching staff and the fans for welcoming him and helping him to great success at Arsenal, even though not winning trophies.

"He wanted to finish his career at Arsenal, but the board didn't offer what he feels he deserved, especially considering no has not had a pay rise since 2008.

"He expected better treatment from the board especially after remaining loyal for so many years to the club.

"He's very thankful to the fans and only will remember great things from the club and wants to reward them with the FA Cup."
