Manchester City have not cut loose young midfielder Olivier Ntcham.

The talented Frenchman signed for Genoa on a season-long loan, with a €3.5 million permanent option.

It's regarded as a formality that Genoa will buy Ntcham outright - but City have also insisted on buy-back clauses.

If the midfielder does sign for Genoa, City can re-sign Ntcham for €8 million next season.

The following one, City will have to pay €9 million to buy him back and €10 million a year after that.
