Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany insists that the club has not lost hope regarding this season's Premier League title.
The Eastlands outfit have fallen five points behind league leaders Manchester United after just one win in their past four outings but the Belgian centre-back is remaining positive in the run-in to the end of the season.
"For us to get back in the race for the title we'll need other teams to take points off United and then we'll have to finish the job when we play them at the Etihad Stadium.
"We will keep believing; it's just not as easy as it would have been before. But I would like to stress the fact it shows we have made a lot of progress, as proved by the fact we're playing to win the league.
"I look to the future and it's not going to be long before we win the title, I can guarantee that.""The reality is that it's not in our hands anymore," Kompany told the club's official website.
