Manchester City coach Brian Kidd says manager Roberto Mancini is cut from the same cloth as Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Kidd helped Fergie win his first league title at United.
"The question Roberto Mancini will be asking now is 'who wants more? Who wants to keep on winning?'
"I have said before that Roberto is cut from the same cloth as Sir Alex and people thought I was being a balloon. But the top managers handle themselves in a certain way and we have seen over the past two years that Roberto has what it takes to make the big decisions.
"He knows how to handle top players and big personalities. They don't frighten him one bit. Look at the way he handled himself in the last few weeks of the season, taking all the pressure on himself and off the players.
"He did a fantastic job keeping everyone calm and just getting on with the job of playing football.
"Tactically he's very good at setting the team up and changing things during a game. If things aren't right he will pick up on it straight away."
