Man City No1 Hart admits England performance inspired by Leeds keeper Schmeichel

England No1 Joe Hart says he owes his cleansheet against Bulgaria to Leeds United goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Hart revealed how former team-mate Schmeichel inspired his match-turning saves during the 4-0 win over Bulgaria last night.

The Manchester City man, who made two crucial stops from Stanislav Angelos and Dimitar Rangelow, said: "I try to stand big. I've stolen [the technique] from Kasper Schmeichel, who I worked with for a bit - and it's working for now. Luckily [the ball] hit me."
