Man City News: Barcelona keeper Ter Stegen on Bravo rivalry; Yaya fancies Napoli move

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure cannot rule out a move to Italy.

The Ivorian is off contract in June and is preparing to face Champions League opponents Napoli at the San Paolo tonight.

Toure told Gazzetta dello Sport: "There were contacts with Italy in the past. I was followed by other clubs like Barça or Manchester City.

"Still time to go to Italy? Never say never in life. The San Paolo of Napoli does not leave you indifferent. Even when one is an opponent of Neapolitans. As a City player, I'm not scared. But in difficult moments during a match, their presence can be decisive."

Meanwhile, Marc-Andre ter Stegen says he never considered leaving Barcelona while battling Claudio Bravo for a start.

Former Barca coach Luis Enrique insisted upon rotating the two keepers - which eventually saw Bravo quit for Manchester City last year.

Ter Stegen recalled to WAZ: "My competition with Claudio Bravo? At that time, I never seriously thought about leaving Barcelona.

"A return to Germany? With Claudio, we had thought about what was going to happen. The club told me they did not want to lose me. I received a lot of support. I never thought of going back to Germany."
