Nicolas Otamendi is happy to reunite with his international teammates at Manchester City.

City acquired the services of tamendi from Valencia this week and the defender is another addition to the large contingent of Argentine players already at the club consisting of Sergio Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis and youngster Bruno Zuculini.

Otamendi is pleased to have so many familiar faces present at the Etihad Stadium and is hopeful of adapting to life in Manchester soon with the help of his compatriots.

The 27-year-old said: "I spoke with Alvaro and he told me wonderful things about the club. The same with Bruno Zuculini, who was alongside me playing at Valencia.

"They told me this is a top club, an amazing place to be, and all the people here are very kind. Kun told me the same, as did Micho (Martin Demichelis), and Pablo (Zabaleta)."
