Manchester City are viewed as the most likely English club to land Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery.

AS says Real Madrid will open talks with the Bayern Munich this week about a move for French winger Ribery with both parties set to meet in Manchester for the General Assembly of The European Club Association.

Manchester United and Chelsea are both keen on Ribery, but with Real and City also interested, Bayern are counting on the midfielder's asking price rising - so forcing the Premiership's top two to step aside.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea will all be represented at this week's high-level European club talks.
