Manchester City have named Ferran Soriano as new chief executive.
Soriano is a former Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Barcelona and has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective from September 1st 2012.
He arrives to replace Garry Cook who resigned from the position last season.
