Manchester City will have to find £12 million to prise Aiden McGeady away from Celtic.

The Irish Independent says it is said that a £12m price tag will be slapped on the 21-year-old Glasgow-born Ireland international, who has arguably been the Hoops' top performer this season.

City boss Sven Goran Eriksson believes he will need to strengthen his squad if his side are to push for a Champions League place next season -- as well as cope with an expected run in Europe, should they finish fourth or qualify for the UEFA Cup -- and he obviously feels McGeady's potential is hard to resist.
