Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is ready to take Luca Toni off Bayern Munich's hands.

The News of the World says italian sources claim Mancini will target the Azzurri attacker as he shakes up his squad at Manchester City, although no firm plans will be formulated until their final position in the table is discovered.

Toni has scored five goals in 10 games for Roma on-loan but they look to have blown their title hopes with a shock home defeat to Sampdoria on Sunday.
