Manchester City are eyeing Espanyol defender Sergio Sanchez.
El Mundo Deportivo says City are willing to cough up £3 million to bring the young centre-half to England.
Sevilla are also keen, but City's spending power has them installed as favourites.
Should Sergio agree terms, he would join ex-Espanyol teammate Pablo Zabaleta at City next season.
