Manchester City are keeping tabs on Daniel Alves' deteriorating situation at Barcelona. The Daily Star says the Brazil international has reportedly angered club bosses after taking part in a friendly without permission from Barca's medical staff.

According to reports, the right-back had previously been angered by Barca's failure to dismiss rumours linking him with a move away from the club.

And City may now see this as an opportunity to tempt the Spanish side into selling the attack-minded full-back.
