Manchester City have suffered another injury blow with news that summer signing Martin Demichelis is set to spend some time on the sidelines.
The Argentine defender, who joined from Atletico Madrid on the weekend after not playing a game for the Spanish club, sustained a knee injury at training and is likely to miss around six weeks.
It is not great news for City boss Manuel Pellegrini who had signed the former Malaga centre-half to cover for the injured Vincent Kompany and Matija Nastasic.
