Man City midfielder Yaya Toure: Monaco tie far from over

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure says their Champions League tie is on a knife edge with Monaco.

Toure described the French club as “brilliant" following City's thrilling 5-3 win at the Etihad last night.

“I think we need to score two goals and we have to be careful," he said. “The game is not finished. We must not to under-estimate them and must try to score goals again.

"We are a team that can get the goals but we can concede goals. We are able to score because we have the striker in front.

“Our defending was bad – we can concede a goal but we have the strength up front, like Leroy Sane, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, Jesus Navas and Nolito.

"You could see we had the desire to win. We continued to believe. The very important thing was to score more goals. When we were winning 4-3 we continued to attack.

"After when we scored a fifth we tried to control the game because we know the second game is going to be crucial."
