Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure says it's crucial for the club that manager Roberto Mancini remains in charge long-term.
Toure believes that stability at the top can only help the Blues in their bid to become a major European force.
The midfielder, brought to City from Barcelona by Mancini for £24million the summer before last, said: "I think it is very important to have stability, not because I know him but because he is doing a fantastic job.
"You have to continue with that way, so you don't always have change."
