Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has revealed he came close to signing for Inter Milan.
Toure revealed he almost joined Inter ahead of Barcelona in 2007.
"I was offered the chance to go to Inter when I was at Monaco," he told Extra Time.
"(Roberto) Mancini followed me from 2007, and wanted me in Milan, but I chose Barcelona instead because it was always my dream to play for them.
"Mancini helped me a lot when I arrived in England. He taught me so much and is one of my best friends in football."
