Man City midfielder Toure furious over claims he "dreamed up" racist chants

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is furious over claims from CSKA Moscow that he "dreamed up" the racist taunts from Russian fans.

UEFA have charged CSKA Moscow over the behaviour of their fans after Toure was the target of monkey chants during Manchester City's Champions League tie in the Khimki Arena.

Vyacheslav Koloskov, the honorary president of the Russian FA, has claimed that it is part of a conspiracy to discredit his country, saying: "Toure has dreamt something up there.

"The referee hasn't heard anything. We asked the coach after the game and he hasn't heard anything. The match delegate hasn't heard anything."

But Toure responded angrily. "I am not deaf,' he said. 'It is not a nice feeling to go and play a football match, to bring joy to the people and to be called a monkey or to hear monkey noises. I don't look like a monkey. Other people must have seen it."
