Manchester City midfielder Paolo Fernandes is happy to be returning to NAC Breda.

The Spaniard impressed for the Eredivisie last season and will spend another campaign on-loan, it has been announced.

"Of course I am very happy. I want to play more here and try to make the difference," he said.

"Last year it went better towards the end of the season. Hopefully I can extend that form to the coming season.

"When I left here at the end of the last season, I immediately felt like I had to come back. Especially because I now know everyone here, very nice people, and of course for my teammates. I'm going to give everything again this season."
