Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has taken a swipe at former manager Roberto Mancini.

Nasri was superb in their Champions League win over CSKA Moscow.

When asked if Manuel Pellegrini was having a positive effect on the Man City squad, Nasri told ITV Sport: "Yeah, it's a factor; you have players who like to be criticised in the press - make them react, and some who like to talk to the manager, and feel the affection of the manager. It's the job of the manager to be a psychologist. You can put any player on the pitch, and if they don't feel loved they won't perform on the pitch."
