Man City midfielder Milner: We'll probably draw Barcelona!

Manchester City midfielder James Miner doesn't expect any favours from Monday's Champions League draw.

City have a 50-50 chance of avoiding one of the crack Spanish trio Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona, with Monaco, Borussia Dortmund and Porto the other possible opponents - they have to face a group winner and cannot be drawn against Chelsea or Bayern Munich.

Milner told the Manchester Evening News: "We like drawing the same teams, and we like getting tough draws so it will probably be Barcelona again!

"We know we can beat anyone on our day, and we will see who it throws up. Wherever we go, we will go there confident because we are coming into a vein of form, and have a few players coming back.

"We started the season slowly and were a bit up and down, and our Champions League campaign didn't get off to the best of starts. The draw wasn't kind to us again, we didn't perform the way we can, and we put ourselves in a bit of a situation.

"We managed to get out of that situation and qualify, and that's the main thing. This club needs to be in the latter stages of the Champions League and we have managed to do it."
