Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard was pleased to be part of victory at Stoke City. Lampard admits he'll miss visits to the Brit when he joins New York City FC.
"I will miss nights like this when I go to New York," said Lampard. "I can go away content with what I've done. I'll be watching from afar. I'll move on. If you keep looking back on cold nights in Stoke then you are not concentrating on what you are doing instead. I'll savour the nights I had and move on.
"I always want to do more, look to the next thing. I never really rest on my laurels or be content.
"I want to do more here and then onto my next challenge. I always want to prove something, top players need to have that."
