Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is shocked by Neymar's decision to leave Barcelona.

Gundogan, who plays next week in a friendly against Girona, was asked about the Brazilian's departure for PSG.

He told Marca: "It's clear that it's an incredible amount (€222m).

"(Paul) Pogba had already cost more or less €104 million, now it's double for Neymar! To be frank, what surprised me is the fact that he is leaving Barça.

"I do not see many reasons to leave Barça or Real, but he made that decision. He needed new challenges."
