Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho admits Brazil's World Cup thrashing by Germany will live with the players "forever".
Fernandinho was part of the Selecao team that was humiliated 7-1 by Germany this week.
"I think we're all aware that it was an 'impossible' result. This match will be remembered forever," Fernandinho told SporTV.
"The atmosphere is not very good after a defeat like this, not good at all. Our dream has ended in a very harsh way.
"We need to have personality, raise our heads and try and live with this. I think the professionalism of each of us, our character and honor and the pleasure of doing what we like most is what is going to help us through the next three days.
"We are going to fight for third place the best we can on Saturday."
