Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph is desperate to recover from injury ahead of this summer's European Championship.
The 26-year-old, who is currently recovering from an Achilles tendon problem, is expected to return to first-team action after the international break.
Delph is hoping that his performances during the latter part of the season for City will earn him an England call forEuro2016.
Delph said: "I really enjoy representing my country and it's been the highlight of my career so far.
"The niggling injuries have held me back buy hopefully I can get a few games under my belt before the Euros and try and impress the manager and if I don't manage to do that, I'll only have myself to blame."
Delph, who joined City from Aston Villa in the summer, has played nine times for the Three Lions with his last cap coming in a friendly against Spain in November last year.
