Man City in media partnership to increase brand awareness
Manchester City FC and new sports media company Endemol Sport have agreed a partnership to develop media products for domestic and international markets.
Endemol Sport will help the English Premier League club develop a media strategy and will work on the production of all its media output.
The two parties aim to increase Manchester City’s worldwide presence and grow its fan base.
The press release announcing the deal said it was multi-year and would see the creation of a “media hub” based at Eastlands which would work with the club’s marketing and communications teams.
The hub will produce matchday coverage and entertainment, international programming, online video, press conferences, and newsletters and magazines.
Endemol Sport, which launched at the start of the year, is a sports multimedia business within Netherlands-based television company Endemol that launched at the beginning of 2009.
