The Chilean endured a difficult period as Real coach.

"I have no open wound with Real Madrid. I would have loved to have had a normal relationship with its president, to have been listened to. Naturally, I would have liked to have had more time there.

"It was a luxury to have managed the team. Now a closed book," he said.
