Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that he is not a fan of Monday night games.

City will be squaring off against Everton at the Etihad Stadium on Monday and ahead of the clash, Guardiola has stated that he does not prefer such fixtures as it means that his side have to play after everyone is finished with their respective matches.

Guardiola said: "I don't like to play Monday, the last game, when everybody is done and you play. I don't like that, but it is what it is.

"I'm considering an opponent like Everton will be tough but I expect a good game - and to win the game, of course."
