Summer signing Alex Henshall is already impressing Manchester City management.
City beat Liverpool to the former Swindon winger's signature at the end of last season.
City's Head of the Academy Mark Allen told the club's website: "Alex will provide excellent balance on the left hand side of the field and is an exciting addition to our existing group of players."
Swindon chairman Andrew Fitton, following Henshall's progress with interest, said: "We like the set-up at Manchester City and the Henshall family decided it's a good place to go.
"One of the things you have to do is look at what's best for the player. He's a special talent but he's also young, so he's got a lot of learning to do."
