Manchester City Elite Development Squad boss Andy Welsh has singled out Ben Mee for special praise.

The young centre-half impressed in last week's win over West Bromwich Albion.

Welsh told City's website: "I thought Ben Mee was terrific, too, but he's been excellent for the last three or four games. He did well with the senior side last week and I think he's had a great start to the season."
