Manchester City have a deal in-place for Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz.

Sources close to City management have told tribalfootball.com that Santa Cruz will move to Eastlands during the January transfer window.

Rovers will cash in on the Paraguay international to boost the transfer kitty they will hand to their new manager.

Santa Cruz signed a new Rovers deal earlier this year, but has made it clear in the Paraguayan media that he'd welcome the chance to join his old Ewood Park boss Mark Hughes at City.
