Manchester City will hand Carlos Tevez £150,000-a-week to play at Eastlands.
The Daily Star Sunday says that will make him the third-best paid player in the Premier League behind City's Robinho, who is on £160,000 and Chelsea's Frank Lampard, the highest-earning Englishman at £151,000.
The Argentine's wage will rocket by a staggering £60,000-a-week and he will make £7.5million a year and a whopping £37.5m if he signs a five-year deal.
The former West Ham striker's deal is agreed but City won't announce the £25.5m signing until all the formalities are completed.
Chelsea also wanted Tevez, 25, but it appears even the club owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich aren't prepared to compete with City's financial muscle.
