Manchester City have made a move for Parma midfielder McDonald Mariga.

The Kenya international has been a long-term target for AC Milan and has impressed in his first full season in Serie A.

Sky Italia says City are willing to offer £4 million cash plus the permanent signing of Valeri Bojinov for Mariga. Bulgaria international Bojinov is currently on-loan at Parma.
