Manchester City are making a £9 million bid for Heerenveen striker Afonso Alves.
The Mirror says super agent Pini Zahavi has made a move on City's behalf for the Dutch-based attacker who has just come back from a personal 'strike' after he was refused a move to AZ Alkmaar.
Heerenveen want £13m for him.
