Manchester City will bid for Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz.
The Mirror says Mark Hughes has made his former Blackburn striker his No.1 transfer target.
The Manchester City boss gave executive chairman Garry Cook his list of wanted players when they were in Hamburg for the weekend friendly.
Hughes signed Santa Cruz from Bayern Munich for £3.5m when boss at Rovers.
