Sky Sports is claiming Manchester City have made a £25million bid to Barcelona for striker Samuel Eto'o. With just 12 months to run on his deal with the European champions, the Cameroon international could leave Camp Nou as a free agent next summer.

His agent is set to hold a press conference on Tuesday in a bid to clarify the hit-mans future.

Reports emanating from Spain suggest Eto'o's representative, Jose Maria Mesalles, is to announce the 28 year old plans to see out his deal at Barca.
