Manchester City have offered £6 million for West Ham United striker Craig Bellamy.

The Daily Star Sunday says if the deal is completed when the transfer window opens next month, it will be Bellamy's third spell under City boss Mark Hughes.

He previously played for him at international level with Wales and also at Blackburn.

Bellamy, 29, joined West Ham from Liverpool for £7.5m 17 months ago but is known to have become available for sale under new Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola.
