Manchester City are prepared to bid £15 million for Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu.
The Romania international revealed this week that he had resisted an approach from City about returning to England, however Florence sources say that hasn't put off club owner Thaksin Shinawatra.
The Thai billionaire has made Mutu a prime target for the January market and is prepared to go as high as £15 million to land the exciting striker.
