The former Gunners right-back said: "I'm happy, yes, because this season we have a chance to win the league, a chance to start winning games again, like we did in the first part of the season."
Following the midweek 0-0 draw with Everton, married with Arsenals' 3-3 draw at Liverpool, Sagna feels added confidence that he and his teammates can come out on top as the fixtures become more and more crucial.
"We're still confident. When you can't win, then don't lose," he added.
"It's disappointing because we had room to take three points, but tomorrow is another day and we have to analyse why.
"I'm still happy because this season we have the room to take the league, the room to start winning games again as we did in the first part of the season.
"We have the room to be champions. I don't want to have any regrets. We have to think about Crystal Palace, we have to take the three points because it is a home game."
