Manchester City remain interested in Rennes young gun Ousmane Dembele according to reports.

The Etihad Stadium outfit have been impressed by the 18-year-old winger who has come with a strong recommendation from Elite Development Squad boss Patrick Vieira.

However, City may have to compete with the likes of Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid, who are also keen, while Red Bull Salzburg reportedly made an offer last summer.

Dembele signed his first pro deal with Rennes last month and is believed to be one of France's hottest prospects.
