Manchester City held talks with Barcelona yesterday over Yaya Toure. Marca says Barca sports director Txiki Begiristain and his No2 Raul Sanllehí met with City representatives on Friday.

Barca president Joan Laporta confirmed the approach of City: "We will listen to them as a matter of courtesy."

City also asked for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but were informed the Swede was not for sale.
