Man City loanee Gonzalez faces Aberdeen axe

David Gonzalez is likely to be dropped by Aberdeen boss Craig Brown following his poor performance on the weekend.

The Colombian goalkeeper, who is on loan from Manchester City, cost the Dons victory at Dunfermline Athletic with two howlers in the 3-3 draw and is set to feel the wrath of Brown's axe.

Welsh keeper Jason Brown will be given an opportunity with Dons number one Jamie Langfield on loan at Forfar as he gets back to full match fitness after having brain surgery a few months back.

Gonzalez is due back at the Etihad Stadium next month where he is likely to sit behind Joe Hart and Costel Pantilimon whilst battling with back-up glovemen Gunnar Nielson and Stuart Taylor.
