Tosin Adarabioyo believes it was the right time for him to leave Manchester City on loan.

The 20-year-old centre-back has joined West Bromwich Albion for the 2018/19 season. And having came through the academy ranks at City, Adarabioyo is excited to challenge himself at senior level.

"It feels very strange considering the amount of time I've been at Manchester City," Adarabioyo told Manchester Evening News .

"I think it's the time in my career where I need to play as many games as I can.

"The challenge of the Championship of playing two games a week so it's about adapting to that."
