Manchester City are rivaling Liverpool's interest in Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
The centre-back was widely praised for his performance in the 2-1 win over Tunisia in England's opening game of the tournament.
The Guardian says Liverpool and Manchester City are now keeping tabs on Maguire, despite the fact he has spent just one season so far at the King Power Stadium.
City signed Maguire for £17million from Hull a year ago and he has stated he chose City to help his chances of reaching the World Cup.
He played every minute of every league game last season and finished as City's player of the season and players' player of the season.
